I've read all the comments, and it's clear that the majority of readers are not satisfied with this season's Dancing with the Stars celebrities. But maybe the celebrity pairings will make you more excited about watching DWTS again. Lacey Schwimmer, Corky Ballas, and Karina Smirnoff  have returned to the show after skipping last season. And all of the pro dancers who will be paired with the celebrity participants were announced on Wednesday morning during Good Morning America. On ABC's Wednesday-night comedy lineup, Modern Family gets all the critical acclaim and awards, and Cougar Town has a pretty devoted core following (including me). Often forgotten in the shadow of those two, though, is The Middle, which is also about to head into its second season, and which has neither great reviews nor a vocal fanbase. And honestly, I can't exactly say I'm a fan of The Middle, either. I found its first episode strained and shrill, and I've never cared for Patricia Heaton. I haven't paid much attention to the show since then, but maybe I should give it another look, and fans of ABC's other Wednesday comedies might want to try it again as well. The first season is out on DVD today, and that's a great chance to re-evaluate this under-the-radar show.
