There are so many culinary competitions on television these days, it's hard to get excited when we see an announcement for yet another reality TV cook-off. But Fox is hyping their newest Gordon Ramsay series Masterchef, and we might want to check it out  because it stars our favorite foul-mouthed chef.

Whether or not there will actually be another sequel to The Last Airbender movie is still up in the air, but according to the Associated Press, Nickelodeon has announced a sequel to the Avatar: The Last Airbender TV series. The new series, The Legend of Korra, will be based on the mythology of the original series, and will feature a teenage girl heroine named Korra.

A roundup of TV comedy news items from the past week or so:

• Former Arrested Development co-stars Will Arnett and David Cross are set to reunite this fall when Cross appears on at least seven episodes of Arnett's new Fox comedy Running Wilde, from AD creator Mitchell Hurwitz. Cross will play the fiancee of Keri Russell's environmentalist character, whom Arnett's rich playboy is trying to seduce. With all these AD folks in one place, maybe they can talk about the mythical AD movie, although Cross is the one who's gone on the record saying it's never going to happen.
