Admit it: Just reading that title made you do a little Tony Danza impression in your head ("Angeler! Samanther!"). The classic manny (that's male nanny for those not in on the lingo) sitcom is easy to make fun of, but it's also a warm look at an unconventional family. Plus, it's hard not to be charmed by Tony Danza, lunkheaded as he may be. The Hallmark Channel airs four episodes of Who's the Boss? a day, and this Monday they'll be concluding their run through the show's first season with "First Kiss," the episode in which Tony and Angela (Judith Light) have, well, their first kiss.

A bunch of news came out of today's NBC presentations at the Television Critics Association Press Tour, including updates on all four of the network's returning Thursday-night comedies. The most exciting bit as far as I'm concerned is the news that 30 Rock will be broadcasting a live episode on October 14, with two performances (one each for the Eastern and Pacific time zones). Obviously a number of cast members come from Saturday Night Live (including Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan and frequent host Alec Baldwin), and many others have experience with live comedy via stand-up or improv; even Jane Krakowski is a veteran of live theater. So this seems like just the show to pull off a stunt like this, and I'm sure it'll be very entertaining.
